Assiniboine Woods is a small enclave situated between Roblin Boulevard, on the banks of the Assiniboine River.  Exclusive to single family homes, and characterized by larger homes on larger lots, the area was developed in the early 1990s.  House prices start at $650,000 and increase to over 1 million dollars.

River West Park hugs the city's Perimeter Highway, and follows the curve of the Assiniboine River.  A mix of single family homes, side-by-sides and bungalow condominiums developed primarily in the mid-1970s, the area features gently curving roads and plenty of scenic green space.

Charleswood

A mix of standard 50' frontage lots and larger lots that can reach over 300' deep, Charleswood truly feels like being in the country.  Paved driveways with deep ditches on each side are common, yet other areas have standard curbed roads.   Some larger lots have homes that were built as early as 1920, and most of the housing stock was built prior to the 1990s.  However, there are some newer pockets of homes built since 2000, and a decent amount of infill housing that is less than a decade old.  Primarily single family homes, there are some townhouse and apartment-style condominiums in the area, as well as some side-by-side homes.

An affordable entry to the area, Westdale features a variety of homes: single family residences built primarily in the 1970s, as well as a large supply of side-by-sides and townhome condominiums.  There are also some newer apartment-style condominiums available as well.

The newer subdivision of Ridgewood West was built with young families in mind.  A mix of single family detached and attached homes, there is ample green space and was developed with an extensive trail system to attract those wanting to enjoy a simple lifestyle near nature.
